  In May, 2004, Virginia, Jeremy, and Hillary opened Salon AjAVi. Virginia’s two partners also just happen to be her children!! Salon AjAVi’s name was actually devised from the owners putting their initials together (and rearranged them). Virginia came to Bellevue 15 years ago from southern California bringing her multi-talented family with her. Virginia began her career 23 years ago as a Nail Tech in the salon industry specializing in Fiberglass Nails, Manicures and Pedicures. Now, in addition to owning the salon, Virginia also has her certification as a Licensed Cosmetologist and she has an impressive list of happy, devoted clients. Virginia, Hillary, and Jeremy love working together and this synergy of familial love, mutual respect and multi-talent is obvious to even the most casual observer.

Hillary Reid, daughter and partner, is also from California and Hawaii. Hillary brings her own unique talents to the salon, specializing as a Loreal Professionnel Certified Color Educator and Hair Extension artist. Studying in New York taught Hillary the very latest color andhighlight techniques.

Jeremy Isaac, son and partner, lived in California and Hawaii for a few years, giving him a diversified approach to his clients’ needs. His studies at Pivot Point Haircutting Academy in Chicago, allows Jeremy to bring his unique style and personality to Salon AjAVi, helping to give it the youthful looks and vitality of today. He is a certified Hair Cutting specialist and has appeared several times doing makeovers on FOX Mornings. Also added to his many talents is Hair Extension artist. After the flood, Jeremy relocated to Studio West in Bellevue and with much consideration, decided it was best not to ask his clients to move again when Salon AjAVi reopened. After their salon flooded in May, 2010, they were forced to go their separate ways. With patience, after six months the blessings flowed and the doors opened to a new opportunity. The Salon AjAVi Hill-Top Retreat opened November, 2010.
